I'm all about the nagging. When my son asks why he has to help I tell our family is a team and we all need to work together. If that doesn't work I use guilt, but only sometimes. ;o)
Hi, I am Adrienne. I am a single mother of 2 beautiful children, and one slightly annoying, but beautiful cat. My oldest child is an 9 year old girl whom I will reffer to as Sugar Plum Fairy or SPF. My youngest is a 3 year old boy, whom I will reffer to as Handsome Mortal, or HM. Do you like the names? SPF thought of them, and I think they are just perfect. The cat chose not to use an alias at this time, but reserves the right to do so in the future. His name is Libby. (Short for Liberace.)
We live, work, and go to school in the greater Seattle area. I was born here, but I lived in Las Vegas from 1998-2008, so my children are both Vegas natives. We have family both here and in Vegas, and we visit as often as we can.
That's right- nagging breeds adults who can clean their own house (or make their kids do it) ;)
ReplyDeleteYay!!! you made it!!

I totally agree with the maybe if I start at noon...my child will not go to sleep at night!
ReplyDeleteI always told myself I'd never nag...7 years later, and married...I'm the queen ofnagging.
ReplyDeleteI prefer to refer to nagging as "building character".
ReplyDeleteMy kids have LOTS of character. ;)
Great humor in these posts! I, too, am a single mom -- I love the resilience and "life" reflected here. I'll be around for sure.
