Vice President Biden.

      I know It's not much of a pic, but here he is in Tacoma, WA last Friday morning. I got out of work early and was able to jam down there in time to hear him speak.

     I like him, I like his speaking style. Yes he gets in trouble for saying whatever he feels like saying at the time- but that is precisely what I like about him. He is funny, witty, and seems like a down to earth kind of person that I can relate to. But then again, he is a politician. It is his job to make me feel that way.....

Positive Changes

     So much has happened, my life has been a whirlwind of change. I feel that finally everything is coming together for me...

     When we arrived home from our car trip a letter was awaiting me. The letter contained the start date for my apprenticeship. The electrical apprenticeship I have been waiting on for two years! The reason I uprooted my kids and moved them to Seattle, the schooling I expected to start long ago, is finally starting!

     My next life changer-a move. A pretty far one, out of the city into the country. A house became available right across the street from my mom. Yes, that will create its own amount of challenges, but the good will far out weigh the bad!

     Well I'm off to class, but much more to come, more positive changes to report.....

     SPF and her good friend from babyhood. I remember this girl when she was wearing diapers! Talk about feeling old! Such pretty girls.....

     "These are the cleanest stalls I've seen." Says SPF of the rest stop bathrooms behind them. Here they are watering each others feet before we get back in the car. This very clean rest stop is just south of the Oregon-California border on the I-5.
